Terms of Business

1. Proposals & Payments

All proposals are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

A 50% deposit is payable upon proposal approval, before procurement begins. The remaining 50% is payable within 7 calendar days of practical completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All prices are quoted in GBP, with VAT applied where applicable.

2. Furniture & Design

Design visuals, mood boards and computer-generated images are indicative and may differ from the final installation.

Where necessary, STOK may substitute products with suitable like-for-like alternatives of comparable quality, style and value. Material changes to the agreed specification will be communicated for approval.

3. Delivery & Installation

We aim to complete projects within agreed timescales, subject to product availability, site access and property readiness.

Eligible standard furniture packs are available for installation within 48 hours of order approval and payment, subject to the service conditions confirmed before ordering.

Bespoke projects and show home installations follow individually agreed delivery programmes.

4. Changes & Cancellations

Changes requested following proposal approval may affect pricing and delivery schedules.

Where an order is cancelled, reasonable costs already incurred may be payable, subject to the agreed contractual terms and applicable law.

Consumer cancellation rights, where applicable, are not affected.

5. Completion & Aftercare

We ask clients to report any visible damage, missing items or installation concerns within five working days of completion so we can address them promptly.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty goods or services.

Manufacturer warranties may apply to supplied products.

6. Full Contractual Terms

Our full Terms of Business, provided with each proposal or order confirmation, contain additional information about project responsibilities, payment, cancellation, product substitutions, delivery, ownership, warranties and liability.

The terms accepted as part of an individual contract govern that order, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this website summary limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be restricted.
